Program Overview

Here at the National Personal Training Institute, we offer an extensive 500 hour personal training education and certification program that prepares you for a successful career in the health and fitness industry. What makes our curriculum so unique is that it is divided between classroom instruction and in-gym practical training, allowing you to learn all facets of personal training.

Each day of attendance you spend half your time in the classroom studying topics such as anatomy, exercise physiology, sports-specific training, exercise programming, nutrition and working with special populations, while the other half of the day is spent working out in hands-on practical sessions where you are exposed to a wide variety of exercise techniques and programming.

Approximately 300 hours of the program are spent in the classroom while the other 200 hours take place in the practical.  The program can be completed in either six-months or one-year and day, evening and weekend classes are available.
