Hey Miles! I hope you and Miriam are doing well! I wanted to reach out to you in case any of your current or past students are looking for employment. A few months ago I became the Fitness Manager at Equinox on 17th street in New York City. I am in charge of hiring and training and we are currently looking for a few new trainers to add to our staff. I have been at this location for over twoyears and it's a fantastic environment. I had such a great experience with NPTI so any referrals you can send my way would be greatly appreciated.-Corie
Hey Miles: It's Nick and I really wanted to say thank you for the opportunity and the help you gave me while I was enrolled at the National Personal Training Institute. My life has taken a turn in a very positive direction and I feel unbelievably fortunate to have been a part of your program. It still hasn't sunk in yet all of the things I can now accomplish due to the education and practical experience I received from the National Personal Training Institute. I gave you six dedicated months of my time and you gave me a career that I can retire from. My time at the National Personal Training Institute has allowed me to rival the knowledge and capabilities of other personal trainers who have been training for years. I cannot express my gratitude enough for what you, Miriam and Rich have done for me.-Nick
Miriam: I just wanted to say thank you! You were more of an inspiration than you think to my education. Your knowledge in the field has helped me a lot. When I did my personal training business plan that you assigned us, I wasn't sure if it was worth more than just being project, but after your comments I really feel like it can be a reality. I've had many teachers and professors in my life but you guys really do seem to care and get involved in our education so much more than any of the others. If you ever need anything from me, please don't hesitate to ask. I want the opportunity to give back to a school that has given so much to me. Thanks again.-Tim
Dear Rich and Jeff: During my time in college I found myself lost in the career path I decided upon and disappointed with the professors that were forced upon me. These professors were always knowledgeable, however they lacked the skills to actually care for and help their students. Once enrolled at the National Personal Training Institute I was skeptical as to if this schooling was actually everything I needed it to be. Thankfully it was all I could hope for and more. I didn't see you guys as teachers but rather as caring, friendly, fun, fitness mentors that were there to do everything in your power to help us all understand the sometimes complicated material, and to keep things fun and interesting along the way. For that I will always be indebted to you both and I want to thank you for everything you did for me during my life changing experience at the National Personal Training Institute.-Cody
Hey Miriam! I just wanted to thank you and Bob for all your help. As you know I'm working as a trainer at Urban Active in Grove City. A few days ago I was trying to think of a way to get more people to notice me while I'm on the floor. In the evenings, everybody crowds around the cardio equipment so I took a client through your treadmill workout during those busy hours. My client loved it and now everybody is talking about the "new trainer and her crazy workouts" so it worked! I've gotten three new clients since then and I can't thank you guys enough for all the tools you have given me! Tell everyone hello. Take care.-Amber
Miles, Miriam, and Rich: I just wanted to send a thank you and let you know what a great education and eye opening experience it was to spend six months with you all. Previous to my time at the National Personal Training Institute I thought I knew a lot about exercise and related topics but I quickly found out there are many variables and considerations in developing successful exercise programs that I would not have known about without the education from the National Personal Training Institute. Rich was simply an outstanding instructor and both Rich and Miriam led by example and demonstrated an extreme passion in their teaching. As an update, I have started my fitness career as an independent contractor at the brand new Anytime Fitness in Solon and the new Strongstyle Martial Arts Fitness Center in Independence. I couldn't have done it without you. Thanks again for the education!-Cal
Hello Miles: I wanted to touch base and give you an update on my fitness career. I'm currently employed by the Akron General Wellness Center in Fairlawn and its going well. It's truly a state of the art facility and a great place to work. I used to pass it on my way to class at the National Personal Training Institute each day and think to myself, 'I'd love to get a job there as a personal trainer'. I read the bios of all the personal trainers working there and since they all had a four year college degree in some type of exercise or sports conditioning, I naturally thought they'd never hire me since I don't have a degree. I gave it a try anyhow and sent in my resume in May and after some perseverance, I was hired and I love it!!! I'm sure I couldn't have done it without the experience and education you, Rich and Miriam provided. Thanks so much!!!-Cindy

Hey Miles, Miriam and Bob: I just wanted to tell you guys what I've been up to since class ended. Things kind of fell into place for me and I started my own Personal Training Studio. It's called Pursuit Fitness Studio and it's going really well. I just wanted to thank you guys because you gave me skills in this field and in life that I could not have gotten anywhere else. I know that if I would have gotten some little on-line certification this dream would have not come true. I really mean this when I say it; your school has been the best thing I have ever done. I couldn't have asked for better teachers and people. You made my dreams come true and I'm sure you will make a lot of other people's dreams come true as well. Take care.-Shea
Hi guys: I've been meaning to send this email for the last week but it's been a little hectic! I wanted to let you know I started working at LifeTime Fitness this week as a Personal Trainer. This first week is technically orientation but I have my first two clients tomorrow morning. I'm so excited! Mandy from the day class has also started so it's nice to have another National Personal Training Institute grad with me. I feel very prepared thanks to the NPTI curriculum (and of course the wonderful instruction from Bob). I'll keep you posted on how things are going. Hope you all are doing well. -Jessica
Miles, Miriam and Bob: I just wanted to thank you guys so much for everything you have done for me over these last six months. I really enjoyed my experience at NPTI! Miriam and Bob you guys are both awesome teachers and gave me the knowledge I need to be a successful trainer. You kept things light and fun and made the material easy to learn. I'm looking forward to what the future has for me in the personal training field and I wanted you to know that I am grateful for everything you have done for me.-Nick
Hello NPTI: I wanted to give you all an update on what I've been doing. Soon after graduating I started doing a little volunteer work with an aboriginal youth program on the Canadian side of the Buffalo border. The volunteer work turned into a full time position as I was hired at the Fort Erie Native Friendship Center as the Wasa-Nabin Youth Coordinator to develop youth programs. The first program was a week long fitness boot camp which the kids loved. We now have a weekly physical development program here at the facility as well as one-on-one at-home training. There is also a health coordinator wanting to work with me to develop a healthy workforce development component. The best news is that I have been approached by the Canadian Aboriginal Sport Circle to become a national sports facilitator. It is due to the teachings of the National Personal Training Institute course that this door of opportunity has opened for me. I would highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to live a long, strong healthy lifestyle and assist others in achieving the same goal. Many Thanks!-Annette
Miles: I thought I would take a quick second to tell you how really impressive your school is. Being a personal trainer has always been my life's dream and I know that with the great training and knowledge I am getting from you guys, I am actually going to be able to make that dream a reality. I'm so excited and I can never thank you guys enough. I'm so glad I attended the National Personal Training Institute instead of doing some ridiculous on-line certification. -Ken
Miriam: Long time no talk!! How has everything been? I hope everything is going well. I wanted to email you and Bob to thank you two for all the help you gave me while I was enrolled. I am now coming up on a year and a half working as a personal trainer at Lifetime Fitness and I am also a full time student at University of Cincinnati where I am studying dietetics. The short time I lived in Columbus was made all the better by getting to learn from you two. I really hope to see you guys soon!!!-Jimmy
Hello Guys: Miss all of you. I am working at Willoughby Fitworks and have been there for about five weeks. I have to say that I train very different from all the other trainers in that I work more with the Bosu, stability ball, bands and my client's own body weight and less with machines. I found that my clients love it. I'm also the only trainer that will spend extra time stretching out (time permitting) my clients. I left Fitworks tonight thinking I truly love doing this! I can't thank you guys enough for everything. I still refer back to my notebooks for some of my clients- I keep everything from class handy. You can spot a NPTI student a mile away- we totally stand out!-Wendi
Hi Miles: I wanted to let you guys know what I've been up to. After working several years as a trainer at the Jewish Community Center, I've decided to pursue a new career path as a Medical Assistant and then as a Cardiovascular Tech. However, I do have to say the curriculum at the National Personal Training Institute really came in handy with my anatomy and physiology classes. In fact, I was ahead of the other students. My one teacher even complemented me on my knowledge and said I could probably teach the class just as good as her,if not better. So, for that I have to thank you all and especially Rich for the knowledge he passed along. Thank you.-Keely
I just wanted to thank you for the great experience I had at the National Personal Training Institute. When I graduated in April, 2010, I didn’t know where I was going to work, what kind of trainer I would be and I definitely didn’t think I had the skills to be a good trainer. Well, three weeks after graduation I got hired at Fitness Together in Brecksville and I have to say I couldn’t be happier!! Rich did such a great job with the program. I learned so much from NPTI and without a doubt it helped me get where I wanted to be. -Chris
Miriam: Things are going really well. Ed (Owner, Kings Gym) and Barb (head trainer) are just slamming me with new clients all the time. It's great!! Ed calls me his star and Barb (who is by far the busiest trainer here) says she can't believe the quality of my education as a personal trainer. I guess most new personal trainers never had the opportunity to learn all that I have from you. I can't thank you enough for that. I feel so very confident with my training technique and exercise selection for each of my clients different needs. Pretty cool! -Michele

Miriam and Bob: As you know, while attending NPTI I worked at the Hilltop YMCA as a fitness monitor and while there I met a soon to be high school graduate who wants to become a Personal Trainer. Before I had met him, he said he was thinking about attending a junior college and while talking to him about fitness related topics, he was amazed by the knowledge that I was able to confer to him. During our many conversations, I also told him what I enjoyed during my time at the school and what you guys have to offer. As a result, he's very interested and is planning on attending the next open house. I hope he enjoys the program as much as I did.-Will
